About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled LED Technician, Lead to manage and oversee the LED / Video department for permanent installations of multiple sound stage / LED volume installations.

This traveling position requires a leader who can staff the LED department with qualified technicians and oversee stagehands providing additional labor.

Location : Traveling position (Nationwide); Residents of Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, and Houston areas are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the LED / Video department for permanent installations of multiple sound stage / LED volume installations.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of qualified LED technicians.
• Oversee and direct stagehands who will provide additional labor for installations.
• Ensure all installations are completed to the highest standards and within project timelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installations.
• Maintain and manage inventory of LED equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of LED systems with other technical elements.
• Travel extensively to various project sites across the U.S. to oversee installations.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Extensive experience in LED technology and video systems, particularly in the context of sound stage / LED volume installations.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and training technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
