The TEMPORARY OR Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care during the surgical phase, coordinating with the health team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This role acts as a patient advocate in the operating room. Requires strong decision-making skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Admission, recovery, and discharge of surgical patients.
- Hours flexible to daily surgery schedule.
- Ability to function independently and strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the team.
Job Type : Temporary, approximately 12 weeks
Benefits : No benefits, temporary position
Physical Setting : Outpatient
Schedule :
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift. 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM
- Monday to Friday, No Weekends! No Holidays!
Experience :
- Nursing : 1 year (Preferred)
- Acute Care : 1 year (Preferred)
- Operating Room Nursing Experience
Education / License / Certification Requirements :
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
- Indiana RN License (Required)
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS (Preferred)
