We are currently seeking a motivated, detailed, self-starting Pipe-fitter who desires to join a successful organization of seasoned construction professionals in the Birmingham, AL area.
Candidates should be comfortable in their written and verbal communication and problem-solving abilities, be well organized, and have a strong aptitude for follow-through.
Some traveling is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Follow company safety policies
- Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Piping knowledge of VAV’s and Air Handling units.
- Carbon steel, Sweat and Solder Copper.
- Be willing to learn and take direction.
- Leading a welder and small Crew is a Plus
- Be willing and able to travel.
- Mechanical ability.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Be able to identify material for piping systems
- Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.
Qualification
- 3 years of experience required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn.
