The Legal Recruiting Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting, will provide support and assistance to the Firm’s Legal Recruiting Department focusing on our Chicago and Washington, D.C. offices.

  • Coordinate 1L outreach and interview scheduling
  • Coordinate and assist in the execution the Washington, D.C. and Chicago office Summer Programs, including : Planning summer associate events Creating and updating firmwide and office charts Maintaining RSVP lists Preparing for Summer Program Committee meetings Tracking summer associate evaluations Preparing for mid-summer and end-of-summer reviews Scheduling trainings and preparing materials for summer associates
  • Prepare for the on-campus recruiting season by gathering information for law schools
  • Manage law school registration applications are complete
  • Prepare on-campus interview (OCI) materials for attorneys
  • Prepare statistical reports for each law school
  • Serve as main contact for students invited for call-back interviews
  • Schedule multiple in-office interviews per day and handle all cancellations / changes as they arise
  • Track interview feedback
  • Prepare materials for and attend Hiring Committee meetings
  • Generate response letters and track candidates in legal recruiting application tracking software
  • Track lateral searches, schedule interviews and assist as needed on lateral recruiting efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Handle multiple, time-sensitive tasks and work well in a high-pressure environment, with a wide range of professionals
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with viRecruit a plus

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require).
