Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Phoenixis seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist (PRN) to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers.
Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Receive incoming calls and refer call to appropriate source and / or schedule level of care assessement
- Assess the needs of callers and provide appropriate guidance, referrals, and resources to address their concerns.
- Document all interactions and interventions accuratly and effectively, maintaining, confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, healthcare team members and community providers regarding patient status and progress

Qualifications
Requirements :
- Education required : High School diploma / GED. Preferred : Vocational / Technical School Graduate
- Licensure and certification required : N / A
- Experience required : 0-1 years of related experience working in a call center, providing customer service and performing data entry required.
Able to multitask. Preferred : knowledge of crises intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management
