Additional Information About the Role BJC Medical Group is seeking BE / BC Internal or Family Medicine Physicians to join our friendly and experienced Hospitalist team in Belleville, IL, located just 20 minutes from downtown St.

Louis. Memorial Hospital Belleville is a 212-bed acute care Magnet-designated hospital offering emergency and critical care services as well as medical and surgical along with a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services.

Position Highlights : 7 on / 7 off schedule Full-time requirement of 182-shifts per year with opportunity to pick up additional shifts, if interested ICU with 24 / 7 Intensivist coverage at main campus Substantial APP support and expansion No procedures or codes required, but option if desired.

Communicates with staff, patients, and families. Responsibilities Manages the medical care of assigned patients. Collaborates with patients, families, and members of the health care team to ensure excellent clinical outcomes.

Performs and documents histories and physicals in the patient's medical record as required by hospital by-laws. Supervises and instructs medical students and residents assigned to service.

Assists in the learning needs of residents and students as assessed.
