BMW of North Haven is looking to add to our service department team, with the addition of a Service BDC Representative. The person in this position must be driven, goal oriented and focused on proactively out reaching to our service customer base.
Their main focus is to set future service appointments and fill our service schedule on a daily basis. This person will be using our internal customer lists to call our customers and let them know which services they are due for.
Depending on the candidates work ethic, the right person for this position can excel and collect commission for strong performances.
Throughout their exchange with customers, the Service BDC Representative will answer questions and assist the customer wherever possible to ensure they receive a high-end, luxury service consultation.
Essential Functions
- Data mines tele-service lists and makes outbound phone calls to service customers
- Informs service customers on their needed services and schedules their next appointment
- Answers and routes calls, takes messages, transfers to voicemail providing customer service to callers
- Provides exceptional customer service assistance to our service customers
- Data entry
- Ordering parts, follow up calls, confirmation calls
- Understanding customers individual emergencies and using tools and skills to efficiently accommodate different customer situations
- Maintains electronic and manual filing systems
- Coordinating transportation for clients
- Check vehicle’s history and understanding warranty guidelines
- Setting up estimates and looking up labor quotes and times
- Follows attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and end times of any shift, break or departure from work for personal reasons
- Follows the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
- Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors
- Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements
- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy
- Maintains the professional appearance of assigned work area for self and subordinates
- Attends pertinent training
- Attends company meetings as required
