Position Summary

This position will be working in a manufacturing facility, producing quality work with machines and by hand as efficiently as possible.

It will be in a team atmosphere working as a team member.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position General Laborer will be primarily responsible for efficiently operating a variety of small machines located in finishing and Fulfillment Departments.

Some additional responsibilities on occasion will be assisting on larger machines and / or other departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

• Small Machine operation includes :
• Pot Devins, mounting equipment.
• Large Machines as a Helper include :
• Die Cutters etc.
• Hand finishing, assembly, packing.
• Have the ability to read and understand all written and verbal instructions pertaining to the job ticket.
• Perform quality checks as required
• Utilize Automated Equipment whenever possible
• Responsible for accurate counting, assembling and packaging of completed jobs.
• Make sure all areas are clear and clean at the end of each job, with tools and supplies that were used returned to their storage locations.

Qualifications

Education, Skills, Experience & Abilities :

• 1 2 years’ experience is beneficial
• Reading, writing and communicating clearly are skills needed for this position
• Must meet physical demands of standing, squatting, lifting, and reaching for the entire shift
