It’s with that in mind that Hireology is looking to add a Content Writer to our team.
As a Content Writer for Hireology, you will help manage our marketing brand voice, writing and editing diverse thought leadership and brand content to articulate Hireology’s features, the value they provide and get the world excited for our evolving HR platform.
You will be a critical member of the Marketing team, driving brand awareness, industry recognition, and opportunities for our sales team.
The ideal candidate will have experience creating persuasive B2B marketing content, including blog posts, landing pages, whitepapers, marketing emails, and more in a consistent brand voice while thriving in a fast, results-driven environment.
Previous experience writing about hiring, human capital, or B2B technology solutions is a big plus.
As our Content Writer, you'll be responsible for :
- Writing marketing materials including eBooks, thought leadership blogs, case studies, web copy, email copy, joint partner content, and social media content
- Promoting content on social networks and monitoring engagement
- Researching industry-related topics and staying up-to-date on hiring-related trends
- Supporting the Hireology editorial calendar to map content across our key customer segments and channels and prioritizing based on performance
- Managing the Hireology blog to promote our unique POV on changing market conditions, hiring best practices, and exciting new product releases to drive site visitors
- Collaborating with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant Hireology content that meets the needs of key stakeholders such as customers, prospects, and industry partners
- Conducting keyword research and using SEO guidelines to optimize content
- Serving as the brand steward, ensuring all messaging and copy is within brand voice and editorial guidelines
- Measuring the impact of our content through Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other content tools and making proactive recommendations on marketing campaign planning

Okay, we’ve laid out what the job is - now are you qualified? Below are the minimum qualifications we’re looking for in a Content Writer candidate.
- To be considered, include a writing sample or portfolio link with your resume
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing and 2-4+ years of relevant experience (B2B technology experience is a plus!)
- Strong writing skills across channels (blog, email, social, web)
- Pristine grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
- Experience writing for web and landing pages
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools
- Familiarity using Wordpress or a similar content CMS
- Deadline-oriented, strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to juggle multiple writing projects for a diverse set of audiences
- Ability to conduct independently and write about topics you may be unfamiliar with
