Our client, a PE-owned manufacturing company, is searching for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team at one of its plants near Springfield, Mass.
This position offers advancement opportunity at the corporate level for high performers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing activities
- Bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with daily invoice processing activities
- Financial statement preparation, review, and analysis
- Prepare and enter biweekly payroll journal entries into general ledger
- Accounting in adherence to GAAP
- Coordinate processing and distribution of W-2s and 1099
- Assist with annual audit process
- Data analytics projects
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience required
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- ERP experience is a must
