New England Biolabs (NEB) is hiring a Sr. Web Development Services Manager to guide and oversee the solution architecture, development, testing, administration, and documentation for a global, complex e-commerce and brand website (neb.

com). This individual will manage a high performing hybrid team of internal and external web engineers, content editors, and quality assurance analysts to build and integrate websites, applications, and web related services.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technological expertise, software delivery experience, and an overall commitment to excellence.

Primary Responsibilities :

Partner with business leaders and marketing managers to establish technology strategy in line with the business vision to prioritize technology initiatives.

Work with the Associate Director to define enterprise application system roadmaps and associated processes using evolving technology, which support global business imperatives such as growth, simplification, cost productivity, system vitality, customer experience and quality improvements.

Build and nurture best in class technical teams (web development and QA) through hiring, performance management and associate development to promote overall associate performance, learning and growth opportunities, while supporting business goals.

Oversee the content team responsible for product launches, and content maintenance. Requires working closely with Marketing Communications and Product Marketing Managers to confirm user experience expectations, meet requirements and delivery schedules.

Partner with vendor partners and IT to provide a technology vision and direction for web applications, with focus on customer experience.

Coordinate with vendors partners and internal teams on build efforts and best practices (e.g., code reviews, pipeline automation, test automation, code sharing) through use of agile methodologies (backlog grooming, work estimation, engineering best practices) and diligent release planning.

Monitor and enforce applications development related processes and standards including but not limited to design, construction, unit, integration and system testing, implementation, and documentation (technical and user).

Ensure that activities adhere to all company, Information Technology, and security administrative policies and procedures including PCI DSS, ADA compliance and OWASP best practices.

Is responsible for validating third party applications and code for effectiveness, efficiency, security, and adherence to specifications and compliance.

Accountable for ensuring a high-level Test Strategy is completed, collaborating with the business and QA.

Manage operational key performance indicators (defects per user story, velocity, estimates to actuals) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality technology.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis in partnership with the analytics team to stay ahead of emerging trends.

Required Qualifications and Experience :

Bachelors or master’s degree in STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), or Business Administration.

Minimum 4 years in a supervisory role.

7+ years IT / Digital experience working with enterprise level CMS / ecommerce solutions like Sitecore / SAP Commerce.

4+ years business / solutions analysis.

4+ years leading an agile team of full stack engineers on design and solutioning complex experiences within a hosted environment using software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile techniques.

7+ years delivering solutions to global, complex business problems, while collaborating with cross functional teams including infrastructure, IT, compliance, product owners and vendors.

Exceptional prioritization, negotiation, planning and communication skills.Ability to design and communicate complex technological solutions to a wide range of audiences from non-technical to technical.

Skilled in critical thinking, logical and comprehensive problem analysis, and resolution.

Dedication and commitment to top-quality service andmeeting customer expectations.

Expertise with Project Management and Business Analysis, as well as ticketing solutions (such as Jira).

Experience with Coveo, or similar onsite search solutions.
