Teaching Aid - Montessori Program

We are looking for a wonderful, caring, and patient teacher's aid to join our team. Do you love working with young children?

We have an infant program, a toddler program, and a preschool program with children ranging from ages 6 weeks old to 5 years old.

Job Overview :

• We are looking for a teachers aid for our licensed childcare facility for a part-time position.
• This job is ideal for someone who is consistent and reliable, loves working with others and young children, adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances and environments.
• The position could start as soon as possible.
• This is an amazing opportunity for those interested in a career in early childhood education or Montessori.
• We are open 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm Monday through Friday and we are a year-round program.

Job Description :

• Aid lead teachers with classroom management.
• Change diapers and assist potty training children with learning to use the potty.
• Supervise young children inside and outside.
• Cleaning up after children and light chores throughout the day.
• Assisting children with their needs.
• Aiding lead teachers with tasks throughout the day.
• Communicating with other teachers and parents.

Qualifications :

• A friendly nature, patience, and love for children.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Experience caring for young children is preferred.

Requirements :

• Hands-on child / adult CPR and First Aid certifications are required within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a background check for state licensing purposes.
• Verification of Immunizations (MMR and tDap).
• Training courses for state licensing requirements within 30 and 90 days of hire.

Salary :

Pay is DOE starting at $17.50 / hour.
