Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping & Receiving Support I at Fuquay Varina, NC.

As a Shipping & Receiving Support I, you will :

• Responsible for warehousing activities including the receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of finished products, according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensures materials are received, unloaded and inspected securely and safely from delivery vehicles, compares items and quantities received against freight bills, vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, manifests, or other records, documenting discrepancies;

and that materials are delivered to inventory for storage.

• Maintains records of damaged or defective items; records time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials, including updating the purchase order system for receipts / shipments that are received, cancelled, or backordered.
• Gathers, verifies, scans, labels, packs / wraps, loads items and ensures shipment in a timely manner according to specifications and the applicable transportation method.
• Ensures the orderly stocking and timely delivery of merchandise and the security and accountability of inventory, enabling materials to be available to meet production schedules and / or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.

This is a Full-Time Contract opportunity.

Schedule : 1st shift 7am-4pm.

The Ideal Candidate will have :

• Previous warehouse experience desired.
• High school Diploma / GED is desired.

Payrate Range in Between - $17 - $18.50 / hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
