We are looking for a Fire Protection Designer to join our team. This is a great opportunity to showcase your design skills while playing a key role on various fire protection system projects.
As an experienced Fire Protection Designer you will exercise your attention to detail while designing automatic sprinkler systems using AutoSPRINK.
This individual will report out of our office in Milwaukee and will be a local resource.
Individuals that complete the questionnaire will be prioritized in the review process
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed fire protection plans using AutoSPRINK.
- In conjunction with a Sales Project Manager you will plan, organize and execute projects.
- Analyze existing fire protection systems and recommend and implement improvements.
- Tasks : on-site field surveys, generating hydraulic calculations, submitting drawings to obtain the required building permits, preparing stock lists, ensuring the projects adhere to the proposed timeline, and preparing project close-out, operation and maintenance documents.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in fire protection design and sprinkler system experience
- Bachelor's degree desired, not required
- NICET certification(s) ideal for this candidate
- Proficient using AutoSPRINK, AutoCAD, and more
- Be able to report in office in St. Louis Missouri
