Overview :
Reporting directly to the Market President, the Senior Relationship Manager will have experience within the Commercial Banking line of business and enable the company’s financial results by driving new relationships, new loan fundings, new deposits, PxV, and Commercial Card spend.
This role carries a portfolio of clients and sales production goals and be accountable to deliver best-in-class experiences and comprehensive financial solutions to clients and prospects across a broad array of industries.
Responsibilities :
Ensure appropriate client coverage through disciplined calling efforts, understanding client strategic and financial objectives, and working with TCB product partners to identify appropriate opportunities to deepen the bank’s relationship with clients.
Develop a strategic client acquisition pipeline based upon parameters assigned by your line of business to deepen and expand your portfolio and the Bank’s presence in the market.
Embrace the TCB Sales process to ensure appropriate client and prospect coverage and align with TCB product partners on delivering banking solutions to deepen existing relationships and accelerate new client acquisition.
Possess a natural disposition to be focused on achieving production goals and calling metrics.
Keep abreast of the latest financial and banking product knowledge, financial markets, and relevant regulations.
Stay current on business trends, including businesses which are thriving in your market and / or area of expertise.
Surface issues and provide feedback to appropriate corporate functional leaders for visibility and resolution.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field / experience.
Minimum 10 years of commercial banking experience required, including prior experience in credit analysis and / or portfolio management with a focus on middle market and corporate clients.
Advanced knowledge of banking suite of products and services.
Formal Credit Training (Commercial Credit Certification, or from another bank) or commensurate underwriting experience required.
Effective team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Can operate with a sense of urgency balanced with adherence to the firm’s risk appetite.
Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate with clients, all levels of employees, management, internal partners, and clients.
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to identify and solve problems / issues and timely escalation of known risks.
High interest in outreach to, and involvement in, the communities where we live and work.
Strong knowledge and application using Salesforce and MS Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
