We are on the hunt for a super talented someone’ who is passionate about keeping ship straight in our onboard Casino.

This someone’ will have the skills to ensure the secure and efficient operation of the Casino slot machines. The lucky crew member selected for this role will accelerate time when faced with an issue to ensure our Casino equipment is operational.

In other words, this someone’ needs to know how to Make Ship Happen. Your excellent attention to detail and self-starter mentality means you can think quick on your feet and keep calm when ship gets real.

Ultimately, we won’t be able to remember how we got by without you.

What You’ll be Up To :

• Be familiar with all cruise services / features and activations to respond to Sailor inquiries accurately
• Prepare written authorization for jackpot payouts and present to Cashier and / or Casino management based on established Casino Operation policies
• Conduct daily inspections of the Arcade machines and equipment
• Maintain a constant presence throughout the Casino. Walk around the Casino to assist sailors and provide general information.

Extend courtesy and helpful gaming information to Sailors. Respond to Sailors' complaints in a considerate, professional and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively.

Take ownership of Sailors' concerns

Maintain an awareness of the sailors to avoid possible security problems. Observe players and machine operation for improper use or possible security problems.

Notify management and / or security of suspicious behavior

• Participate in slot and video game count as assigned and in accordance with Casino Operations policies
• Complete paperwork and / or reports on a per voyage, monthly and / or quarterly basis
• Attend meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required
• Prepare requisitions for parts, tools, equipment, etc., and forwards to Casino management for approval
• Examine defective machines to determine causes of malfunctions. Adjust and repair machines, replacing worn or defective electrical or mechanical parts, using hand tools, such as screwdrivers and pliers
• Conduct general maintenance and / or service on all machines and casino equipment

Superpowers Required :

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Slot Technician in a Casino onboard a Cruise ship or a Casino ashore
• Passionate about people and able to handle guest complaints with a smile!
• All certificates as required by the STCW code for this position
• Strong written and verbal skills
