Location : Plano, TX - must be open to hybrid onsite work at least 3x / wk with 24 hour on call pager and weekend work expected

Type : 12+ month contract with potential to extend

We are only able to work on a W2 basis, no Corp to Corp. Must be able to work on our W2 without sponsorship!

Required Skills :

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience
• Senior level experience with Linux required, including LVM and SAN multipathing
• Ability to Recommend, design, develop, and implement software and hardware solutions
• Provide Operating System technical and break / fix level support
• Shell scripting and automation skills
• Expertise in RedHat Linux Clustering Solutions
• Proficient in performing OS administration tasks on RHEL6, RHEL7 running on ESX virtualized servers
• Proficient in performing OS administration tasks on SLES 11+ running on bare metal HP ProLiant DL580 Gen8 servers
• Proficient in troubleshooting any RHEL6, RHEL7 and SLES 11+ software and hardware issues.
• Experience installing, configuring and Supporting Puppet
• Experienced with multipath, VAS / AD, yum, BladeLogic and ProLiant DL series, HP3PAR and HP Smart storage arrays admin CLIs
• Knowledge of SAN based disk solutions and their configurations
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot network, performance and software issues
• Broad knowledge of the following : IBM Power serversDB2 DatabaseSAP Core financial applicationsNetapp Filer storageCisco based networksSAP BWA application appliancesSAP HANA database technologyVery large-scale transactional processing

Desired Skills :

• Experience with IBM AIX OS is a plus
• Experience in supporting and administration of SLES11+ running HANA DB is a huge plus
• Any experience on AIX virtualization, Install upgrade and configure VIO servers and clients, AIX PowerHA clustering is a plus
• Familiarity with tools like BladeLogic, DNT, ESM, vsphere client is a huge plus
• Exposure to SAP product suite is a plus

Position Description :

Leads and / or participates in the design, development, and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities.

Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and / or analytical tasks and activities. Viewed as a technology subject matter expert;

able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and / or vendors.

Will have responsibility for multiple, complex projects.
