Summary

They are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee projects, ensuring top-tier performance, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop schedules, coordinate resources, and monitor progress.
- Supervise and mentor site supervisors, foremen, and other personnel to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within quality standards.
- Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to guarantee accuracy in implementation on-site.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, addressing performance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety meetings, and promote a culture of safety across the site.
- Collaborate with project managers to manage budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and site photographs.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction, with a minimum of 5+ years as a Superintendent, ideally with mid-sized or larger firms.
- 5+ years of Commercial project experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and building codes.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30 and First Aid / CPR are a plus.
