The Solar Site Superintendent will oversee all project personnel and construction phases, ensuring compliance with safety plans, quality control, scheduling, and customer relations.
Responsibilities include maintaining communication with clients, delegating tasks to maximize on-site productivity, and managing installation crews' schedules.
The Site Superintendent will develop and manage a two-month look-ahead schedule for all installations, ensure all necessary materials and permits are prepared, and coordinate material deliveries.
This role involves direct on-site management of trade partners, vendors, and material suppliers, as well as acting as the primary contact with city inspectors.
Additionally, the Site Superintendent will handle project commissioning, schedule inspections, and ensure projects meet client expectations.
Key Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction or solar industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Experience with scheduling software and project management tools
- Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) development and material procurement
- Capability to oversee and motivate installation crews
Salary Range : $80-$110k + Plus Bonus
