Description

The Engineering Business Development Manager (EBDM) will play a critical role in the development and advancement of Victaulic solutions. Responsibilities :

  • Experience developing,managingand growing new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with key stakeholders on a national and globalscale
  • Raiseawareness of Victaulic’s full range of solutions to both new and existing customers. This will involve conducting regular customer and site visits, as well as developing small discussion groups with owners, developers, andengineers
  • Execute high levelnetworking andsocial engineering at the customer’s executive level toidentifya strategic vision of market trends, new products, and new services for future growth and pipelinefulfillment
  • Through the account conversion process, identifynew salesopportunitiesandcommunicate with the global regional management team for collaboration of successful construction projectmanagement
  • Managenew construction project opportunities byidentifyingscope, schedule, and influences. This critical information and project development must be communicated to theappropriate globalVictaulic teams to maximizerevenue
  • Maintain a sound knowledge base across Victaulic’s full scope of market solutions and services
  • Foster close contact with all stakeholders to create, convert and sustain engineering standards to Victaulic
  • Grow our business by meeting set targets and goals

Qualifications (education, experience, personal attributes) :

  • Extensive relevant experience within theconstruction and engineering fields
  • Proven successfultrack record, including business development, sales, and account management, achieving targets and complex sales driven at the owner,engineeringand developerlevels
  • Strongengineering skills in writing and developing designspecifications
  • Strong project management skills
  • A self-starter who enjoys working in an autonomous leadership role while being a member of a team of highly skilled colleagues
  • Excellentcommunication skills
  • Ability to travel overnight, as necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanicalengineering orconstructionmanagement strongly preferred.An MBA is considered aplus
