The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the financial reporting of our clients. This includes the review of periodic financial reports prepared by our staff, preparation of budget, KPI and other management reports.

Internal controls designed to mitigate risk will be adhered to as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. This is a full-time position.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This is a permanent position in the finance industry, where you will play a vital role in managing and overseeing all aspects of our financial operations.

We are looking for a seasoned professional who can lead our financial team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive our financial planning and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities :

As an Accounting Manager, you will :

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

2. Manage the preparation and analysis of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.

3. Analyze and review financial data, prepare financial reports, and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

4. Oversee the processing of invoices and ACH payments, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

5. Prepare and manage the company's budget, perform periodic budget analyses, provide recommendations for budget adjustments, and ensure expenditures are in line with budget allocations.

6. Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and comparisons.

7. Collaborate with executive leadership to define financial strategy and policy, serving as a key advisor on financial issues impacting company performance.

8. Ensure the company's financial systems, procedures and controls are in place, compliant and regularly reviewed.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, with a deep understanding of the finance industry.

3. Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

4. Experience with financial reporting, including the preparation and analysis of balance sheets, financial statements, cash flows, profit and loss comparisons, and budgets.

5. Experience with managing ACH payments and processing invoices.

6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and design and produce effective management reports.

7. Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to lead a team to meet financial and accounting objectives.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

9. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions.

10. Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation a plus.
