Job Title : Accounting Manager
Our client seeks an exceptional Accounting Manager to lead their financial team. This role oversees accounting operations for a diverse portfolio, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
Located in downtown Madison, you'll join and lead an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily accounting operations and manage a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement efficient month-end closing processes.
- Produce and review GAAP-based financial statements.
- Facilitate tax returns, audits, and compliance.
- Collaborate on annual budgets and oversee variance analysis.
- Manage bank accounts and cash balances.
- Oversee system administration and upgrades.
- Support various financial and administrative projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management.
