About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 12 months Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Must have ICU and Interventional Radiology experience with a minimum of 2 years License : Active Maryland or Compact License required at the time of submission Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have : Two satisfactory professional references needed from most recent employers : one supervisor / manager and one charge RN Job Description : Work in the Interventional Radiology department, managing a daily census of approximately 18 patients.
- Be responsible for a unit with 10 beds.- Participate in an on-call schedule, averaging approximately 5 on-call shifts per 8-week period, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to float within the hospital as needed, with no restrictions or special requests, as long as it is within the nurse’s scope of experience.
- Complete a 24-hour orientation as part of onboarding.- Required to get a flu vaccine without exemptions.- Be available to go to the lab within the first 96 hours after contract signing.
- Return staff must have been away from the system for at least 6 months.
