This position is responsible for working with various leaders, subject matter experts and vendors to design, develop and deliver training programs to meet the needs of the department and / or functional area.
ResponsibilitiesOversee and develop the Training Team by managing staff scheduling and time off requests, 1 : 1s, individual performance feedback, corrective action, performance appraisals, new employee on-boarding, training and career developmentPartner with department or functional area to identify training needs and prioritize activities based on timelines providedEnsures training methods are aligned with industry best practices / standards and meets the diverse needs of our staff, e.
g., just-in-time opportunities, online courses, classroom training, skills assessments, annual monitoring, etc.Work with leaders to evaluate effectiveness of training materials and staff and provide results from training evaluations and additional resourcesIdentify cross-departmental training needs, create training materials, assist with initial and ongoing training needs, manage training calendar and plans, and be the primary touch point for internal and external needs related to trainingOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Education, related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and / or relevant work experience;
