Virtual English Language Instruction (ELI) Lead Teacher - 2024226

World Relief is seeking a full-time ELI Lead Teacher for virtual classes. The Virtual ELI Lead Teacher has the primary responsibility to prepare and teach English as a Second Language for refugee adults and evaluate their skills using the appropriate testing tools to determine their learning progress.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons for students with different learning styles articulating the lessons on 4 skill areas : listening, speaking, reading, and writing;
• Teach English as a Second Language to refugee adults to help them to address the English language barrier and contribute to their full integration into their resettlement communities;
• Assist the ELI Program Coordinator in monitoring student’s attendance to English classes.
• Provide regular feedback to the ELI Coordinator on the efficiency of the training materials as well as suggestions on how to improve the quality of the ELI Program services.

• Experience teaching English, preferably working with adult English Language Learners

• Driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
• Able to work outside of regular business hours if required
• Up to 25% domestic travel only required
