Job Summary :
The Dual Credit Liaison will work collaboratively with the Office of Dual Credit Programs and the Port Arthur Independent School District schools, school personnel, faculty, staff, and students to support dual credit programs.
Coach and mentor students to fully develop each student’s academic, career, personal, and social abilities and address the needs of special population’s students.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Master’s degree in counseling, valid Texas Counseling Certificate, and valid driver’s license. Three years of K-12 teaching and / or counseling services.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITY :
Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development. Excellent organizational, communication, and personal skills.
Provide quality instructions to students about their behavior. Knowledge of career opportunities and postsecondary options required for careers.

SALARY :
$43,000; plus excellent benftits
Work Hours :
Full-time 40 hours a week, Occasional overtime may be required.
