Your Role
The Operations team plays a critical role in the success of the team and is responsible for a range of activities including procurement, fulfilment, shipping, and planning for the omnichannel business.
This role will be responsible for supporting procurement, supply chain, contract manufacturing activities. This role will work collaboratively with all other functions at and a broad range of external suppliers.
The Procurement Senior Analyst role reports into the Procurement Manager.
The ideal candidate will be data-driven, analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, an effective communicator, and highly collaborative.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support procurement processes with current and new suppliers including sourcing and purchasing
- Help source, evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers for current and future product / packaging needs
- Support purchasing processes for current and future product / packaging suppliers
- Support purchase order submission and tracking activities to ensure on time in full completion
- Track and analyze KPIs on supplier performance
- Proactively identify any risk of delays / deviations and document / resolve any potential problems
- Coordinate with suppliers on product quality, testing, release, and freight preparation
- Role involves elements or procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and contract manufacturing skills
- Work collaboratively with the Operations, Product, Finance teams internally
- Work collaboratively with all external suppliers
- Be highly proactive in monitoring and analyzing performance to identify and resolve potential issues early
- Be highly proactive in identifying opportunities to improve performance including cost, quality, and accuracy
Qualifications and Skills
Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years in Supply Chain or Procurement roles
- Experience in CPG companies is a strong plus
- Startup / e-commerce / supplements experience or passion is a plus
