Job Description :
Are you looking for manufacturing or machine work? Look no further! Mount Vernon Mancan is offering an exciting opportunity for dedicated individuals to join their team.
This position involves working 10-hour shifts and assembling sheet metal products for HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate various machines including pipelines, spiral pipe machines, presses, lockformers, notchers, and Roto-Dies.
- Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging of pipe, wallstack, and joist panning.
- Conduct setup duties to change over to different sizes and configurations of products.
- Carry out quality checks during the assembly and fabrication processes to ensure high-quality finished products.
- Load products onto pallets or racks, which requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds.
- Follow safety guidelines and directions at all times.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Capability to bend, twist, pull, grasp, and grip as necessary.
- Stamina and strength for physically demanding tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
Qualifications :
- Must have a GED or high school diploma.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must pass a background check.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to arrive on time.
- Ability to work hard and be willing to work overtime when needed.
- Team-oriented with good collaboration skills.
- Focused on maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
