Material Planner III
Duration : 12 months contract with possibility of extension.
Location : Fremont, CA

About the Role :
The main function of a material planner is to coordinate materials as well as other parts and resources that are needed to manufacture products.
A typical material planner is able to appropriate supply of cost-efficient and high-quality materials.
Job Responsibilities :
Determine required materials and generating necessary purchase orders for them.
Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
Ensure the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments.
Evaluate and prepare cost estimates and performance reports for material purchases.
Schedule and monitor the supply and delivery of materials and products.
Skills :
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
Organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education / Experience :
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
