Client south of Milwaukee is looking to hire a Process Engineer.
Summary :
A Special Process Engineer to be responsible for owning and managing critical processes within our plant, including Heat Treatment, Cleanliness, and Paint.
The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to company Manufacturing Standards, provide technical support, and prioritize safety while optimizing process efficiency.
Job Responsibilities :
- Own and manage special processes including Heat Treatment, Cleanliness, and Paint within the plant.
- Deploy company Manufacturing Standards related to special processes and ensure compliance throughout the plant.
- Provide technical support to ensure the highest level of safety and process stability.
- Flow down requirements defined in procedures and standards into plant systems.
- Ensure adherence to inspection frequencies, criteria, and methods defined in company’s Standards.
- Guarantee the capability of special processes, including Heat & Surface Treatments and Fluids.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Departments to ensure process stability and resolve manufacturing problems.
- Approve thermal, surface, and fluid treatment processes.
- Capitalize on best practices and share them with other plants.
- Participate in and lead the deployment of the plant's investment plan in compliance with procedures.
- Collaborate with Group Expert of Special Processes, provide feedback, and conduct necessary training.
- Review, update, and ensure compliance of work instructions.
- Ensure effectiveness of training and certification for all stakeholders involved in Special Processes.
- Contribute to improvement actions in environmental and HSE areas.
Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience with accountability on Heat Treatment and Process Control
- A strong engineer, detail oriented, who will secure and improve our processes
- A mindset for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Heat Treatment, Cleanliness, Paint processes.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and safety regulations.
Salary : $100-$120K
Location : Sturtevant, WI
