One of our clients, an established oncology office, is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team.

The position is full-time with a great compensation and benefits package.

• Contract Type : Full-Time Direct Hire (W2)
• Salary : $27-30 / hr, depending on previous experience
• Location : Two locations available - 48314 & 48085, MI

Job Description :

The licensed practical nurse (LPN) will administer infusion therapies on an outpatient basis and monitor and record results for physicians.

This position will also coordinate services with the lab and other entities participating in patients' care.

Responsibilities & duties :

• Receive assignments from physicians and schedule appointments for patients.
• Receive patients, explain procedures, check vital signs and administer therapy, monitor reactions, and report to physicians.
• Deal with emergencies (with outside assistance) if required.
• Provide infusion treatments such as hydration, blood and blood components, and administering drugs and solutions.
• Keeps records for physicians and billing purposes.

Required Qualifications :

• A state license for a licensed practical nurse is required.
• At least three years of clinical experience including training in infusion therapy.

Preferred) Oncology experience, but will train the right person.

• Strong critical thinking, organized, and punctual.
• Able to work independently.
• Organized manner to maintain schedule and generate reports in a timely fashion.
• Reassuring manner to deal with patients of all ages.
