Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Firmware Engineer to join our team in developing cutting-edge Radio Remote Head (RRH) solutions for 5G and beyond.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firmware development on RFSoC platforms, experience with Digital Front End (DFE) algorithms, Beam Forming Algorithms, and expertise in FPGA programming.
This role will involve designing, implementing, and testing firmware that enables efficient and reliable communication in modern wireless networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop firmware for RRH systems based on RFSoC processors, utilizing the DFE capabilities for advanced signal processing.
- Design and implement FPGA-based logic for interfacing with RF transceivers, managing data flow, and implementing control algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware and hardware components.
- Optimize firmware for performance, power consumption, and resource utilization.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of software tools for firmware development, testing, and debugging.
- Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of firmware to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues during development and deployment.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in wireless communication technologies and apply them to firmware development.
