Grow your career as a Director of Groups Sales - Midwest within Inclusive Collection , one of our 14 industry-leading brands.
In this role you will represent and sell Hyatt Inclusive Collection and its brands as a director of groups, meetings and incentives;
with special focus on developing business from Midwest USA, maximizing revenues and achieving corporate sales goals and objectives.
Additional duties may be assigned by the Corporate Director of Groups in relation to team activities and action plans.
A successful Director of Group Sales - Midwest will :
- Generate leads / prospects and develop business for all resorts and brands
- Coordinate and represent brands at various planner events, associations, trade shows, and other industry events as described in Action Plan
- Set appointments and execute sales calls / presentations / educational seminars and webinars about the resorts / brands to ensure maximum impact and results
- Assist with sales plans, owner reports, marketing plans, event planning, partner relationships
- Maintain professional, consistent verbal and written communication with clients
- Maintain impeccably updated partner databases
- Must meet or exceed established booking goals on a quarterly basis
- Hands-on problem solving and resolution of client / hotel issues

A successful Director of Group Sales - Midwest will have :
- Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Hospitality
- CMP, CIS, or CMM a plus but not required
- Advanced MS Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel a MUST
- Group sales management experience in the hospitality industry in global sales
- Must have a strong, existing network of clients in Midwest USA
- Demonstrated strong management and analytical skills with ability to independently gather, collate, validate and analyze data
- Must have strong presentation skills with personable and assertive character
- Proven high business producer
- Ability to travel domestic and International
- Valid Passport
- Flexible travel schedule
- In addition to English Language, Spanish is a plus but not required
