Description

The Software Licensing Team Lead servers as the main coordinator between the Government and contractors in the Enterprise Licensing team.

This position will require the implementation of policies, processes, and actions that identify, track, and provide overall software license management to support customer agency Software Asset Management activities across the enterprise.

This role currently requires weekly onsite work on Tuesday & Thursday.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Coordination with Government customer base to ensure timely prioritization of project commitments.
  • Coordination with team members to provide deadlines and services with the expected level of quantity and quality provided by our customers.
  • Oversee completion support provided by your team members. Services range from user assistance, software installs, purchase assistance, renewals, removals, entitlement and proof of purchase tracking, network scan reconciliation, download assistance, procurement package documentation.
  • Coordinate oversight of software asset inventory and reporting needs.
  • Assist with the review, process, and tracking of all software licensing, and maintenance requests from initial submission to delivery.
  • Collect and maintain accurate Software Licensing information in repositories to address budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contracts, cost and internal and external audit queries.
  • Provide analysis of the software data that can be used to drive key business decisions.
  • Track and ensure notice periods are met for changes and cancellations.
  • Respond to requests from Software Owners, end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management information.
  • Daily coordination and reporting to the government customer base.
  • Meet critical milestones as identified in schedules for customer deliverables.
  • Work with team to update drafts according to feedback received from the customer.
  • Support task management of Enterprise Licensing tasks.
  • Engage in data collection
  • Develop detailed and high-level reports and presentations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Technology or Engineering and 6 years of experience; Masters and 4 years;

may accept additional experience in lieu of degree.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills, including the ability to accumulate, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information.
  • Team management experience.
  • Strong Excel and PDF skills.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong emphasis on providing great customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize and deliver high-quality, accurate work within targeted deadlines.
  • Ability to update and upload to SharePoint.
  • A sense of ownership about task completion.
  • Ability to work with executive and expert level of personnel.
  • Ability to report on progress and issues upon request.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Proficiency with e-mail programs, Internet search engine, and SharePoint is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a professional office setting is required.

Required Clearance :

  • US Citizenship.
  • Active secret clearance.

Target salary range : $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
