We are looking for an inventory control associate manager to help us track and improve inventory efficiency. If you are someone who loves spreadsheets, calculations, and data sets then this is your ideal position at one of the fastest growing brands in the world.
This role will be based out of our Moonachie Distribution Center.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Responsible for inventory integrity of finished goods in our USA Distribution Centre, E-Commerce and our Free-Standing Stores
- Responsible for assuring to maintain a 98% or higher item and location accuracy at the end of each quarter
- Coordinate daily cycle counts and location audits in the Distribution Centre
- Review count results using DC Audit report, investigate discrepancies, identify trends in error, and request approval from Finance and Inventory Control Senior leadership
- Support with preparation of the Distribution Centre for the year-end inventory count by understanding the requirements, coordinating frequent warehouse walkthroughs, increase counting, reviewing resources required and resolving any issues
- Support the count team in the Distribution Centre for the year-end count, ensuring all counters are trained and in compliance with Inventory Control requirements
- Monitor all outstanding and aging Transfers, Adjustments, Returns and Transactions whilst working closely with Customer Experience, Replenishment, Transportation and / or DCs to resolve, in addition to completing for year-end inventory counts.
- Monitor all Customization, Localization, Reworks, B2B Return inspection, Store Return inspection, etc. processes carried out by the C&L team.
- Help with developing and creating SOP’s & Work Instructions for Business processes
- Manage all shipment and receipt discrepancies for DC-to-DC transfers, B2B Sales orders, DC-to-Store transfer, DC-to-Consignment orders, and DC-to-E-Commerce orders.
Work with Global DCs, Customer Experience, Replenishment, E-Commerce, and Store teams to investigate the discrepancy and resolve inventory errors on both ends.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Emphasis on Pivot Tables, Vlookups etc.
- Effective time management, organizational and problem-solving and communication skills
- Strong expertise in successfully developing, implementing, and measuring strategies, policies, and programs in the areas of supply chain, inventory etc.
- Strong analytical, coordination and project management skills with ability to prioritize changing and conflicting demands, meet deadlines, and stay productive under pressure
- 2 + years of inventory control experience is preferred
- 1 + years of people management or leadership experience is preferred
