Overnight EMT for Detox Unit

Elevate Addiction Services is seeking an EMT to join our hard-working and fun Detox Unit team! We are hiring for 3 10-hour shifts (full-time), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 10pm to 8am.

This will provide 24 hours at regular pay, 6 at overtime pay, and 3 paid meal premium hours (27 regular hours, 6 OT per week).

The Overnight Detox EMT must remain awake on the overnight shift, and do routine checks on our clients to make sure that they are safe and progressing through their detox.

Job Purpose : To respond to any urgent health emergencies that might arise in the Detox Area on the Overnight Shift. Essential Duties : Working the overnight shift.

Keeping up admin for the Case Manager. Performing routine 30 minute checks on clients while on the overnight shift. Keeping the students participating actively in the detoxification process.

Routine checking of vital signs. Administering withdrawal vitamins and ensuring clients stay hydrated. Regular tidying of the Detoxification area.

Making sure that clients feel welcome and comfortable. Performs other related duties as assigned. Performing UAs on clients while they are on detox, and filling out requisite forms.

Maintaining paper and electronic client files and records.
