Position Summary :

Adjunct Instructor, CAS

Willamette University invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track instructor in Spanish language for the Fall 2024 semester (26 August 16 December;

14 weeks of instruction in total). Experience teaching elementary and intermediate Spanish classes, preferably at the postsecondary level.

Teaching responsibilities will include 2 3 classes, most likely Elementary Spanish I. Classes are limited to 20 students.

This position is renewable for future semesters, dependent on curricular need and successful performance reviews.

Salary

$5,175 per course with a PhD

$4,660 per course without PhD

This position must be able to reside in or primarily work in Oregon by the first day of employment. This is an in-person teaching position.

A stipend to offset commuting costs can be provided for individuals residing more than 15 miles from our campus in Salem.
