ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -
- Ensure incoming goods dimensional conformity to drawing using all metrology equipment.
- Define and document in coordination with method engineering the key product characteristics and implement CMM inspection criteria and procedures.
- Provide inspection activity for products throughout the production cycle.
- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
- Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
JOB REQUIREMENTS -
- Ability to read and understand mechanical technical drawings.
- Proficient CMM (Zeiss Contura) and measuring arm (FARO ARM), programming and usage knowledge.
- Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office
- Expert in metrology.
- Knowledge of GD&T set of tools
- Bilingual : English & Spanish
- Experience in metrology within a metal-mechanic manufacturing environment.
