Responsibilities :
- This role requires daily travel to new job sites and at time 100% travel out of town
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites, including various Electrical Control Systems (PLC, VFD, etc )
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, performing necessary repairs
- Respond to customer service calls, providing technical support over the phone or on-site
- Train customers on the use and maintenance of equipment
- Provide input to improve production and performance
Requirements :
- 5 to 10+ years of industrial automation installation experience
- Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC controllers and HMIs
- Proficient installing and commissioning industrial control systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and logics
- Must have working knowledge of UL508A and NEC codes
- Knowledge of various SCADA software such as Ignition, FactoryTalk View, etc.
- Familiarity with DCS systems like FactoryTalk View, ControlLogix, etc.
- Experience with motion control systems and troubleshooting field wiring
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools
- Must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to work without being micro-managed
