Job Summary and Qualifications
The Financial Analyst will assemble financial reports needed by the various budget and accounting system, working with the Controller to complete monthly operation reviews with department leaders.
You will prepare and implement reports and monitor periodic budget, and system analysis. Complete contract labor database and prepare various analysis on a monthly basis as well as prepare the monthly Board Report.
- You will assist the accountants in completing the tax work papers, Medicare Cost Report, and responsible for the Business License application, annual AHA and NAPHS Survey
- You will be responsible for various SOX Key Controls completion
- Manage and report Fixed Assets, Depreciation expense and Accumulated Depreciation Expense
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations assigned by the Controller
- Attests multiple internal controls semi-annually and prepare monthly journal entries
What qualifications you will need :
- 1-2 years previous accounting experience required
- 5 years’ accounting experience with 1-2 years’ experience in a hospital setting is preferred
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance required
- Masters of Business Administration in Accounting or Finance and / or Certified Public Accountant preferred
