FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Hourly
Compensation : $27 - $29 / hour

Founded in 1999, DTG Recycle is the largest recycler of commercial, industrial, construction, and demolition materials in the Pacific Northwest.
At DTG Recycle, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our business forward. The Accounts Payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers.
We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
The AP Associate will have a daily, weekly and monthly ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Support the company in optimizing its financial transactions and systems.
- Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
- Comply with national and local financial regulations.
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
- Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
- Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation.
- Generate purchase orders when necessary.
- Obtain signatures on checks as needed.
- Assist senior financial officers as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Superb time management skills and detail orientation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable).
- Experience with accounting software and online platforms.
- Experience with Concur a plus.
