The Director of Growth is responsible for leading and executing growth strategies that align with our mission and vision.
This role involves developing and implementing programs aimed at expanding our services, improving health outcomes, and fostering new business opportunities within the behavioral health sector.
The Director will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive growth initiatives across RHA’s portfolio.
This is a hybrid position and requires 30-40% travel. The person should live in Asheville, Charlotte, and Raleigh or surrounding areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive organic growth in the behavioral health sector.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and service lines.
- Lead the implementation of ongoing development programs focused on improving health and wellness outcomes for individuals with behavioral health needs.
- Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to align growth initiatives with organizational goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing and outreach campaigns to promote services and programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of growth initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health services.
- Direct the development and implementation of policies & procedures, work processes, financial reporting, compliance, systems, ensuring metrics are established and measured
- Develop and maintain key state and federal relationships, coordinate, and participate on departmental and state committees, and other activities, meetings, and trainings
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor of Arts / Science degree in finance, business, or health care field or equivalent work experience is required.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health services, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
- Five (5) years of program development and / or experience in Medicaid, SCHIP, Medicare, or managed health care.
- Excellent strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
- Regularly required to lift 10 lbs.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
- Must be able to pull a minimum of 10 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.
- Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required to regularly stand and walk.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
