Job Title : Director of Sales & Marketing

Reports to : Executive VP of Operations

FLSA Status : Full Time

Company Overview : Goldfish Swim School is the leading swim school franchise in the nation dedicated to teaching children to be safer in and around the water while making their experience GOLDEN.

With a strong commitment to innovation and client satisfaction, we have established ourselves as a key player in the market since 2006.

BHB Operations is a multi unit franchise to Goldfish Swim School with 25+ locations currently open and operating. As a franchisee that is rapidly expanding, we are seeking a seasoned and driven Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team and drive our business growth to the next level.

Job Summary : The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share across our 25+ locations.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, franchise operations, and team management.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of franchise sales dynamics and a passion for achieving targets and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Revenue Growth :
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams and business development opportunities.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Monitor sales performance across all locations, providing guidance and support to ensure targets are met.
  • Implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Sales Strategy Development :
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.Communicate and implement sales tactics in schools that are struggling.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Marketing Strategy Development
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Communicate and Implement marketing strategies across all schools in the portfolio.
  • Franchise Support :
  • Collaborate with franchisees to develop and execute local sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to franchisees to optimize their sales efforts and drive growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management :
  • Oversee the development and execution of customer retention and acquisition strategies.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Reporting and Analysis :
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Team Leadership :
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales & marketing team to achieve sales targets and exceed performance expectations.
  • Establish clear sales goals and performance metrics for individual locations and the overall franchise network.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales management, with a focus on franchise operations preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In order to be successful in this role you will need to travel 40-50% of working time.
