Position Title : Assistant Solution Manager

Department : Client Services

Reports to : Supervisor Solution Management

Objectives :

The Assistant Solution Manager provides assistance to our team of Solution Managers, clients and business partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the development of critical front end internal and external resource materials for our clients during their renewal and onboarding periods;

including our system Setup Guides and enrollment materials within the expected timeframes provided to our clients. Assistant Solution Managers provide an added layer of efficiency to the renewal and onboarding process and provide excellent customer service through timely and accurate completion of all job responsibilities in support of our team of Solution Managers, clients and business partners.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Exercise critical thinking when performing job duties (this will be imperative while performing tasks which you are responsible and beneficial for career growth)
  • Provide support to our team of Solution Managers by displaying initiative and critical thinking in order to deliver solutions to our clients and business partners
  • Process transactions in Benefitfirst as related to specific tasks in support of our clients and business partners
  • Back-up Customer Care Center Phone Support
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Primary Functions :

  • Provide assistance and support to our team of Solution Managers, clients and business partners
  • The development of client renewal materials including system Setup Guides & COBRA enrollment packets
  • Provide technical support on how to use Benefitfirst to our clients & answer benefit questions when service is offered
  • Provide excellent customer service through timely & accurate completion of all job responsibilities
  • Add a layer of efficiency to the onboarding & renewal process
  • Develop expertise in using Benefitfirst
  • Display a sense of urgency for monitoring the Onboarding & Renewal Timelines
  • Provide excellence in customer service to our clients
  • Display initiative to develop skills and knowledge that will position you as a future Solution Manager candidate.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements :

  • Normal office environment.
  • Prolonged computer work daily.
  • Some lifting may be required to move equipment, files & supplies.

Education & Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent work experience in human resources, insurance or financial services.
