Description
The Supply Technician plays a pivotal role in efficiently managing inventory, coordinating the procurement process, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the supply chain.
This position involves overseeing inventory levels, coordinating with vendors, inspecting shipments, and ensuring timely distribution of supplies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS TO INCLUDE :
- Oversee inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Manage the organization and storage of supplies within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand supply needs and anticipate demands.Work

- Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels and facilitate order processing.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Respond to supply requests and distribute materials to relevant departments.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Ensure timely distribution of supplies to internal departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
- Proficient in using inventory management software
- Understanding of supply chain processes
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages
- Strong multi-tasking skills
Starting Hourly Rate : $15.00 - $21.15 (Commensurate with experience & qualifications)
Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. - 2 : 30 p.m. (subject to change to meet the needs of the University).
