Position Overview :

We are seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning Engineers to join our customer and support Microsoft data center projects in Des Moines, Iowa.

In these roles, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of complex data center systems, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage the commissioning process for data center projects from planning to execution.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of systems.
  • Perform detailed inspections and testing of electrical or mechanical systems, as applicable.
  • Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document all commissioning activities and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.

Qualifications :

Electrical Commissioning Engineer :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning, preferably in data centers or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Mechanical Commissioning Engineer :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning, preferably in data centers or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, and controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
