Drives consistent project delivery through the entireproject lifecycle including project plans release plans resourceallocation and management of project risks scope schedule anddelivery of value.

Coordinates Agile Ceremonies such asSprint Planning Daily Standups Retrospectives Sprint Demos StoryRefinement and Release Planning.

Tracks and communicatesprojects progress from a schedule cost and risk perspective to theproject team stakeholders and management.

Establishes anenvironment where the teams can be effective and helps removingobstacles.

Protects the team from outside interruptionsand distractions.

Ensures a good relationship betweenthe team and product owner as well as others outside theteam.

Tracks and reports team velocity and other projectmetrics.

Promotes continuous improvement and helps teamsto increase productivity.

Helps Product Owner and teamwith Product backlog management.

Ensures the teams arepracticing core Agile principles.

Adheres to VDOT andVITA project management practices as defined.

Additionalresponsibilities as assigned.

KnowledgeSkills and Abilities :

Solid understanding of softwaredevelopment life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of Agileproject management principles and practices.

Ability towork with customers understand their business practices and managetheir expectations.

Ability to set clear performancestandards and hold team members accountable while keeping teamengaged and on track.

Ability to help Product Owners tocreate and prioritize Product Backlog.

Stronginterpersonal skills including mentoring coaching collaborating andteam building.

Strong analytical organizational anddecisionmaking skills.

Ability to analyze and documentbusiness and system processes.

Ability to balance thecompeting demands for quality scope schedule and cost.

Wellversed with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.

Expertise with Project Management tools such as Microsoft ProjectVisio and MS Office.

Experience with Agile collaborationtools such as Team Foundation Server JIRA Version Oneetc.

PMP and CSM Certificationsrequired.

Experience with SAFe frameworkrequired.

SAFe Certification preferred.
