RealCold is currently looking for an Inventory Control Team Leader to join their inventory control team in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Currently, this location is on a first shift schedule beginning at 7am and leaving each day around 3 : 30pm. The scheduled days are Monday through Friday.
This warehouse is not open during the weekends perfect for your work life balance! On occasion, depending on the needs of our customers, the facility does have overtime hours so please be prepared to help with those when business needs arise.
Requirements :
As an Inventory Control Team Leader, you will be responsible to complete the following daily tasks for our team members and customers :
- Manage escalated customer claims
- Demonstrate strong customer interaction and Communication
- Complete customer reports using data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports
- Implement cycle count program and manage cycle counts
- Manage ad hoc program
- Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records
- Determine stock supply and need for replenishment
- Look into damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues
- Find product to ensure correct product ID, conduct cycle counts regularly and assist in physical inventories
- Verify accuracy of shipping orders by reviewing stock numbers, pallet IDs, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, and product lists
- Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products
- Assist Inventory Control Specialists as needed
There are a few things to consider when you apply for our roles with RealCold. We are essentially a cold storage facility, and our environment can be anywhere from
10 to 50 degrees with the primary workspace at 34 degrees. Your management team will provide the appropriate guidelines of what to wear to work once you join our RealCold team or provide the appropriate hand gear to ensure safety.
For safety reasons, everyone should be a minimum of 18 years old to work in our facilities. Also, in the E Commerce area you should be able to lift over 40 lbs.
At RealCold we work together, so it’s important to communicate with the members of your team and the leaders in the building.
Attention to detail, organize and following directions is key to being successful in this role. We ask that you are proficient in Microsoft office systems and additionally experience in a WOS (warehouse operations system) would be a plus.
One to two years of experience in inventory control and the ability to operate warehouse equipment such as : pallet jacket or high reach lift.
The starting hourly rate of pay for this position with no experience is $24 per hour but has a. RealCold believes that our team members should share in the profitability of the locations they support and quarterly has a profit plan based on the success of each location.
