The Position :
Provides support for the assessment and certification programs and the Testing Servicers Director. This role will act as the primary liaison for CNA / QMA and TEAS certification testing.
Record keeping, scheduling and other clerical duties are performed as well as assisting with the administration of academic testing and certifications while overseeing the part-time Scheduler.
Provides exam administration and related services to prospective students, current students, community members, businesses and other groups throughout Indiana.

Testing Services supports outcome measurement by providing an opportunity for students and the workforce at large to validate skills, knowledge learned and to obtain portable, industry recognized credentials.
Testing Services adheres to the NCTA (National College Testing Association) Professional Standards and Guidelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee scheduling coordination and oversight of group CNA / QMA, TEAS and related Certification testing.
- Work with high schools, career centers, and other external vendors and internal partners to schedule community days and other group testing.
- Work with Testing Services Director to track peak scheduling periods anticipating staffing and facility needs.
- Act as liaison between CNA Director in Health Sciences and the Nursing program to obtain and provide updates related to CNA and TEAS testing trends or policy changes.
- Assist the Director with oversight of part-time proctor credentialing and information updates for health sciences related certification testing.
- Utilize Testing Services statewide scheduling system (CASS and SmarterProctoring) to make, approve, cancel, and update appointments as needed.
- Maintain exam security, academic integrity, and candidate confidentiality according to ASOM 4.7 and Testing Services Procedure Guide
- Deliver all exams according to vendor criteria and / or operational procedures.
- Proctor test confidentiality and security at the Testing Services location.
- Provide limited software and hardware troubleshooting, contacting internal Tech Support or vendor tech support when needed.
- Work with Testing Center Director and colleagues adhering to testing schedule and providing site coverage as needed.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of testing center exams, materials, activities, policies, accommodations and procedures.
- Always promote and demonstrate a professional demeanor while representing Ivy Tech with internal and external clients.
- Provide high level customer service. Respond to customer queries in a timely fashion.
- Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled. Review updates and new training material as needed.
- Complete online, campus, and statewide proctor training as required.
- Follow FERPA, Disability Support Services, ADA and other vendor confidentiality guidelines.
- Engage with peers through Microsoft TEAMS, email, and other communication methods.
- Attention to details and reporting of non-compliant testing center behaviors.
- Computer based position. High level of comfort with and daily usage of computers is required. Awareness of troubleshooting basic navigation issues, usage of different browsers, and saving and sending documents in different formats is required.

Education :
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Associate degree or 3-5 years of certification proctoring experience required.
- Working knowledge and comfort with computers is essential excellent word processing, navigation, and spreadsheet computing skills are required.
- Job is primarily 8-5 Monday Friday, flexibility during peak testing periods is required. Some Saturdays and evenings may be required.
- Must exhibit excellent interpersonal communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Active sitting, standing, and walking is required.
- Infrequent lifting and bending.
- Requires the ability to interpret and understand complex assessment instructions, to use problem solving techniques and predictive planning as issues arise.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in education (k-12, higher education) or private sector (academic or certification testing) preferred.
- Prior proctoring experience with CNA / QMA / and / or TEAS testing.
- Prior hands-on exam proctoring experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Current Ivy Tech Community College students cannot be considered for this position due to access to exam materials. Travel to and from site and testing locations is required, mileage reimbursement is provided.

Starting Salary Range : $46,000 $52,000 *Based on experience*
