Senior Fire Sprinkler :

The Senior Fire Sprinkler Inspector performs complete fire sprinkler, standpipe, and fire pump inspections / testing in accordance with National Fire Protection Association guidelines.

The Fire Sprinkler Service Inspector reports to their Service Department Manager for project-related questions or concerns.

Primary Duties Not Limited To :

  • Assists with and / or conducts mandated inspection and testing of water-based fire protection systems
  • Performs testing of fire protection systems using prescribed procedures according to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) guidelines.
  • Strive to satisfy and meet the client’s needs.
  • Assists with and / or maintains records of all inspections, testing, and system impairments.
  • Uses observation and testing to identify faults in materials and fire protection systems.
  • Complete inspection reports and document system deficiencies with photos.
  • Ability to maintain customer confidence by keeping inspection information confidential.
  • Model nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.
  • Must adhere to all company and departmental policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, our mission, vision, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
  • Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of Management that are related to the fundamental aspects of the position.

  • Must be accepting of constructive criticism and demonstrate a willingness to continually improve.

Minimum Job Requirements :

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service fire protection equipment.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 10 (ten) years of experience performing fire sprinkler inspection and service-related duties.
  • Must have a fire sprinkler certification by the State of Nevada Fire Marshall’s office or local AHJ.
  • OSHA 30 required.
  • NICET II or Higher in Sprinkler
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient with reading, legible writing, and basic typing skills.
  • Ability to comply with all federal and state agency requirements.
  • Must possess the proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format.
  • Must be a citizen / naturalized citizen or permanent resident alien without conditions on status of the United States of America by the date of the first test instrument.
